Wes Morgan- 5

He wasn’t awful, but nowhere near as good as last week. I did say in my analysis that a side with more pace than Sheffield United would do a lot of damage and it showed. Wes was troubled a lot by Kane and Son but he couldn’t have done a lot with any of the goals.

Jonny Evans- 5

The same as Morgan, he wasn’t awful but was outsmarted, outmuscled and beaten for pace by Kane all game.  Some poor passes throughout but nothing much he could do with any of the goals.

James Justin- 5

Was unlucky with the first goal, and got forward well, although he definitely needs to work on his crossing. Justin was slow getting back for the goals.

Luke Thomas- 4

The Leicester City fairy-tale of his debut faded this match.  After starting okay and creating a great chance for Perez he fell away and should be taking the blame for the second and third goals as he was way too weak in challenges. Chilwell would have been criticised for those errors and so should Thomas, he’s very promising going forward but he has a lot of work to do on his all round game.

Wilfred Ndidi- 5

The Nigerian was nowhere near his tenacious best. He won the ball a lot but that is to be expected. He gave away too many fouls and gave away the ball a lot.

Youri Tielemans- 5

Tielemans’ play was okay and it looked pretty enough, but he struggled in challenges and wasn’t courageous enough with the ball.  His corner were pathetic as well: so many hit the first man, and the second goal came from one of those.
