According to the most trusted European transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City are on the precipice of signing Roma winger, Cengiz Under.

Many of us keen Leicester City supporters have been expecting a decent right-sided, left-footed winger to join the club this summer – the role truly needs to be filled on Filbert Way. Yes, everyone is also aware that there is not a large transfer budget for Brendan Rodgers and his recruitment team to utilise, yet the Foxes make more shrewd signings than duds.

Quite a few onlookers were expecting Bournemouth’s David Brooks to sign; partly due to apparently overblown rumours of a move. However, Brooks is seemingly an unlikely arrival for Leicester now, as trusted journalist and player market expert, Fabrizio Romano, claims that Rodgers’ side are on the precipice of signing Roma winger, Cengiz Under.

If it were other reporters suggesting this or certain newspapers/online outlets, Foxes of Leicester would not consider the news as likely as it is with Romano’s blessing. As you can read for yourselves in the above tweet, the prospective change of clubs won’t yet be permanent. A loan with an option to buy is the potential deal.

Under is arguably an upgrade on the formerly mentioned Welshman, who is now presumably a ex-target. Additionally, the goalscoring Turkey international has Europa League experience: that will be invaluable to the King Power outfit as they embark on entry to said competition.
