Demarai Gray resisted new Leicester deals and is open to exit
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Demarai Gray’s minor role for Leicester City. According to reports, the player previously declined new deals and is open to a move.
Foxes of Leicester won’t bore you by explaining how Demarai Gray has not lived up to expectations, after ample chances given to him at Leicester City over the last four years. No, everyone is already aware.
It’s obvious that the Birmingham-born man is a talent, but for reasons such as focus, desire or confidence he has failed to find consistency under several managers. All who’ve been at the Foxes’ helm over Gray’s career have offered him opportunities. Maybe it isn’t meant to be.
There is less need for the 24 year old winger at Leicester now: Turk Cengiz Under is nearly ready to begin, then there is Harvey Barnes, Ayoze Perez and Marc Albrighton to contend with.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be admirers of Gray’s, and are reportedly considering a bid. Meanwhile the Fox has “resisted” a new contract with the King Power outfit.
Despite the Leicester gaffer suggesting that the wingman had “worked hard” in training and in the Carabao Cup loss against Arsenal, Rodgers has intimated that Gray will only play a minor role this season.
Additionally, the boss also claimed it is up to Gray to, presumably, prove himself or earn what the athlete would consider a realistic and acceptable offer to stay on Filbert Way.
