Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praises proper team Leicester
After beating Arsenal, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sang the praises of Leicester City football club. He described the Foxes as a proper team.
With Leicester City atop the Premier League, there is a renewed interest in the seemingly ubiquitous Foxes. It appears as though with whatever is happening – they are in the news. And contemporary times are no different for the marketable team.
Thrashing Manchester City 5-2 at Etihad Stadium will propel any club into the conscious of any season taking place. What happened the last time Leicester won at Man City and a certain Riyad Mahrez was on the scoresheet?! Obviously my reference implication is written in jest; but if Leicester obtain another elite centre-back, then this season they could even surpass 2019/20’s achievements.
Jurgen Klopp praises Leicester City
Jurgen Klopp certainly believes the Foxes could do well in this campaign. Following their win over Arsenal, Liverpool’s manager implied that Leicester are a strong outfit, before saying how “good” a coach Brendan Rodgers is. Furthermore, Klopp claimed the King Power outfit play fine football and are a “proper team”.
Incidentally, Klopp was typically on a mad one last night, after his side made Mikel Arteta’s men seem particularly ordinary – I mean, the Spaniard has done a decent job but the Gunners have a long, long way to go – he was rattled from overhearing a Sky Sports pundit say the word “sloppy” in some regard about The Reds. The German proceeded to quiz Roy Keane who expanded on his valid assessment that there were one or two iffy defensive moments for Liverpool.
