Overall, Leicester City have made an impressive start to 2020/21, despite a few blips. So it’s no wonder major clubs want players like Youri Tielemans.

Beating Manchester City and Arsenal away in the Premier League has given rise to a new title of “tactical mastermind” for Brendan Rodgers. And, in Foxes of Leicester’s opinion, it is fully earned.

A long-form type of soaking pressure up for the majority of particularly tough games, and subsequently using only a small section of the match for an intensified sucker punch. When you are afforded the luxury of a striker such as Jamie Vardy to place the cherry on top of the plan – it’s usually executed very well indeed.

Whereas this is a great strategy for the difficult ‘Big Six’ fixtures, it is, as before, the winnable home clashes which have caused Leicester most trouble in the contemporary era. Rodgers must find a way to penetrate the deep block employed by lower table top-flight teams.

Leicester City to offer important player new deal

Youri Tielemans has been one of the most crucial squad members for the East Midlands club for over a year and a half, now. The Belgian is integral in midfield; the only problem for the boss is including his talented international team-mate Dennis Praet, too.

In fact, Tielemans is so good that several footballing superpowers are apparently interested in acquiring his services. To protect their asset, the King Power outfit will offer the 24 year old an improved contract.

According to a 90MIN “exclusive”, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are monitoring the former AS Monaco man.

It’s a trip to Greece next up for the Foxes, with AEK Athens waiting in the Europa League. Following that encounter it’s Leeds United in the EPL for Rodgers’ side. Leicester are currently fourth in the division, after mostly good results. In some cases outcomes have been a little disappointing, along with quite surprising as previously mentioned.
