During Friday’s press conference, Brendan Rodgers indicated when Caglar Soyuncu could return from injury – a vital Leicester city match.

Caglar Soyuncu’s long-term injury was a real blow for Leicester City. He is a valued member of the squad and obviously works as a sort of enforcer for the Foxes: no one is going to take liberties with the side when the Turkish ‘hardman’ is around!

Although, it’s not just metal and a tough tackle that the 24-year-old brings to the team, oh no – Soyuncu is as classy with a ball at his feet as many Premier League midfielders. Vision and technique are staples of his repertoire.

In his latest pre-match press conference, Brendan Rodgers said Soyuncu is “weeks away” from full fitness. Therefore, Foxes of Leicester can deduce which contests Soyuncu will miss; as well as when he might make his comeback.

Rodgers explained that he is hopeful his player will be back before Christmas, as per Leicestershire Live. That means Soyuncu could return for the EPL clash against Tottenham Hotspur on December 19.

Sadly the highly-rated Turk is unlikely to be fit enough to play any of the remaining Europa League Group fixtures. Regardless of qualification already kind of being a foregone conclusion. It would have been a great opportunity for the centre-back to assist the peripheral personnel and youngsters the team will probably consist of, as this round ends.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are the next guests to King Power Stadium to face the east Midlanders. Leicester‘s away form has been first-class; while they have struggled more when playing at home against any level of opposition. Nevertheless, Rodgers‘ men will be confident they can overcome the west Midlands outfit, who have improved of late but are ultimately inconsistent.
