Leicester City title-winning legend and everyman Jamie Vardy almost had an alternative career which may have perfectly suited him.

Jamie Vardy’s ‘avin a party, bring your…sliced avocado and truffles. But it all could have been so different for the Leicester City legend.

Thankfully for us Blue Army members, the forward decided against his alternative job offer and for the delectable luxury of a Premier League life a few years ago, remaining with the Foxes. Which was a while before he rejected Arsenal – hahaha – just in case you had forgotten.

The fitting career that Leicester City star Jamie Vardy could have had

According to Sports Bible, Leicester idol Vardy was close to swapping his lucrative professional footballer vocation to be a rep in Ibiza. This was said to be following a tough first season in the Championship with the east Midlands side.

Seriously, could an idea be any more inspiring or fitting than this potential swap?! In all seriousness, here is what went down.

Former Foxes winger Ben Marshall appeared on YouTube channel Under The Cosh recently, and made some revelations about the No.9. Vards was supposedly considering relocating to the island, regardless of his contract with Leicester City Football club.

Marshall says Vardy will clarify the story if asked; in addition to strangely saying that the former was thinking about ‘jacking it [football] in’.

If you ask me, Vardy was born to be a pub crawl leader – let’s just be happy they lost him to the other side.
