Chelsea will be welcomed to Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening, as the Foxes look to go to the top of the Premier League table.

So, Leicester City can climb atop of the Premier League exactly at the halfway point of the 2020/21 season by beating Chelsea at home. Foxes fans – myself included – are a bit spoiled in recent years, aren’t they?

The Blues’ visit to King Power Stadium hasn’t been overly talked up in the media – what with the devotion prior to and following Manchester United and Liverpool’s dreadful draw – nor has it surfaced much more than the usual pre-match talk between Leicester supporters on Twitter, from what I’ve seen.

Basically, the club has advanced so much in five campaigns that defeating a seventh placed Chelsea to ascend to the summit isn’t a big deal anymore. Oh how we’ve grown. Now for the match preview.

Foxes of Leicester’s predicted Chelsea XI for Leicester City contest

In their previous fixture, Frank Lampard’s side beat London rivals Fulham away 1-0. It is therefore unlikely, with fitness permitting, that the Englishman at the helm of the Pensioners will alter that starting lineup at all.

However, the manager confirmed that defender Andreas Christensen should be available for selection again; though FoL doesn’t expect him to start the match. Former-Leicester EPL champion, N’golo Kante, is unavailable to face his old club, as per Metro.

Below you can find FoL’s predicted Chelsea XI:

Edouard Mendy; Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Cesar Azpilicueta;
Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic; Mason Mount,
Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech; Olivier Giroud.

In other news for Blue Army members, Man United legend Roy Keane believes the east Midlands outfit can win the league – quite the endorsement. Keane thinks Leicester’s challengers for the title will be Man City, Liverpool and his ex-team, stating so on Sky Sports‘ live coverage of the latter pair.
