Despite some rather poor results for Leicester City this season, Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers says he’s still proud of his Foxes side.

Bouncebackability is a ‘word’ which can be attributed to the Leicester team – in fact, they have it in abundance. A great trait, nothing wrong there, right? Fighters, indeed.

Well, ironically it would be much better if further stability and consistency was exhibited or grew throughout the Foxes eleven.

Nevertheless, this season is actually going very well; put it this way: the Blue Army would’ve taken the club’s current position in the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League if off offered it at the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign. In some sort of alternate dimension.

Yet, it is fair for manager Brendan Rodgers to want extra steadiness from or within his chosen starters. Funnily enough, defeats for Leicester have occurred – apart from the loss to champions Liverpool – mainly by outfits that the east Midlanders should beat.

In some cases Rodgers’ men should’ve won comfortably: Fulham at King Power Stadium, for example. Though, revenge can be extracted on Wednesday evening in that case. And with a peculiar season, form isn’t a given.

Brendan Rodgers on why he’s still proud of Leicester City team

With a trip to London to face the Lilywhites once again, Rodgers still needs his squad to make another comeback. The gaffer has, therefore, rightly praised his side for their heroics this term. Along with noting another previously mentioned example of positive mentality:
