There is now more injury concern on Filbert Way, as another Leicester City player has been ruled out of the next game against Sheffield United.

Digging deep is an expression that should be applied to Brendan Rodgers and his Foxes squad, following their gaining four points from a possible six over the last two matches.

This compliment is paid due to the worse injury crisis in recent memory – at least five first team starters is probably the most unavailable personnel ever for Leicester – with the boss having to perform tactical miracles in order to attain victories. Not to mention battling to a hard-fought draw as well.

And that pair of contests were more testing than credit attests: Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion are currently 15th and 17th in the Premier League table respectively, meaning their desperation for any help in climbing up the division is necessary. Meanwhile the east Midlands outfit solidified their position in third place, ahead by six of next team Chelsea.

Next fixture for Leicester City

Sheffield United are welcomed to King Power Stadium for the upcoming EPL meeting; the Blades are almost certain to be relegated after a terrible overall performance this season. However, Murphy’s law will ensure that they will put up a fight versus the Foxes – it might be their last chance to do so with only a sliver of hope this campaign.

Rodgers‘ men will have to achieve success without Turkish winger Cengiz Under, who has been ruled out due to a training ground problem:
