Leicester City’s Recruitment Department has been labeled as the most successful for a long time in recent years of transfer dealings by Premier League clubs.

To be honest, the Blue Army – or neutral fans in general if they are being realistic – didn’t need current Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards, to endorse the incoming and outgoing transfer dealings of the Foxes – we already knew it was world-class.

Yet Richards labelled the King Power outfit as experts in the two windows each year. As stated, that’s for signings as well as sales; to be clear there have been one or two misfires, but a 100 per cent record would be ridiculous. And those bad captures weren’t joined by terrible losses of assets or talent either, in Foxes of Leicester’s view.

Richards’ comments are absolutely bang on, to use the parlance of our time:

"“They’re going to find these attractive players. They’re going to get the odd one or two wrong, but 95 per cent is going to be right.“This is the best recruitment I’ve seen for a long time in the Premier League.”– Micah RichardsVia BBC Radio 5 Live"

In addition, Richards revealed that the Foxes are his “second [favourite] team”, following some sterling displays and results. You can read more from Richards on the east Midlands side here.

While this doesn’t sound much – a player who didn’t quite fulfill his amazing potential, really, but is a decent and I suppose promising summariser – the more people of interest with a keen knowledge and insight of the game to champion Leicester reflects how well the club are performing. So I for one am all for the praise.
