Leicester: Rodgers asked if he wants to become England boss

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has proposed Leicester City’s boss Brendan Rodgers be the eventual successor of Gareth Southgate as England’s next manager.

The football world is acknowledging the lustrous job that Rodgers has been slowly doing at Leicester City. Despite some major setbacks with terrible injuries to the main squad, the Northern Irishman has still delivered crucial results in most clashes.

The boss’ technical brightness has had a luminous effect on the football pundits. Now SkySports pundit Gary Neville has suggested Rodgers consider managing England after Southgate’s regime. Southgate has earned divided opinions regarding the way he forms the England team. Many fans have scrutinized the England manager for his man-management and squad selections.

Rodgers has made it transparent that he wants to manage at an international level in the future. For now, he feels comfortable and content with the King Power club. Here’s what the gaffer had to say about Neville’s remarks:

Furthermore, the East Midlands club is said to travel to Wembley with a chance to qualify for the FA Cup final.
