Two Leicester transfer targets: one a possibility, other is not
FoL updates Leicester City fans on two apparent Foxes transfer targets. One of whom is a possibility, yet the other possibly is not.
Let’s get straight down to it, as we assess the chance of two Leicester-linked players joining the Foxes this summer. First of all there is Bologna’s Mattias Svanberg; a Sweden international at the age of 22, which implies good quality. He is a midfielder playing in Italy’s Serie A at the moment; scoring a brace in his previous league outing.
Svanberg is said to be wanted by a number of significant Italian clubs, including AC Milan and Inter Milan. Premier League rivals Southampton are also supposedly keen on the Swede, as per Sport Witness.
Secondly, Brendan Rodgers‘ team were credited with an interest in another Nigerian; Akinkunmi Amoo is a winger in the Swedish Allsvenskan. However, Hammarby IF do not wish to sell. Read more at HITC.
Leicester City hope for another three points in quest for Champions League
On Monday, the east Midlands side welcome Crystal Palace to King Power Stadium for an EPL clash. The Eagles are hovering above the drop zone relatively safely; with their fairly astute manager and decent current squad they shouldn’t be relegated.
But, if Palace don’t invest they could be in trouble in 2021/22. FoL expects a 2-0 Foxes victory; this will go along way in the hunt for top tier European football next season. Hopefully fans will join the team on that tour, as well.
