Leicester: 17 year old Fox tipped to feature for first team in future
A 17-year-old Foxes starlet is being tipped for a bright future. Sammy Braybrooke is expected to feature for the Leicester City first team at some stage.
Some neutral fans don’t realise that the King Power team have an illustrious history of producing legendary, as well as contemporary, English players and a Welsh international from their LCFC Academy. These stars included: Peter Shilton, Gary Lineker, Emile Heskey, Andy King and Ben Chilwell.
Current Foxes like Hamza Choudhury, Luke Thomas and Harvey Barnes are former youth starlets and now are playing with the seniors and making a mark on the Premier League.
Barnes has really caught Gareth Southgate’s eye in the EPL and when making his national side debut. Word has it the Three Lions boss is hoping the left-winger makes a return to fitness and form by the time he chooses his Euro2021 squad.
Meanwhile another Fox has been scouted, but not with the typical view for a transfer, on this occasion it’s an expert, independent secret scout assessing the Under-18 and U-23 sides.
Possible Leicester City star of the future
Sammy Braybrooke is a catchy name, yet a name you may not know unless you watch or follow the LCFC U23s or U18s. It appears Daily Mail do just that, as the deep-lying midfielder is being tipped for a significant future by a secret spotter in the crowd.
Braybrooke is intense as a DM, rarely loses the ball and can offer a goal threat despite not being deployed in an attacking role presently. His passing is supposedly varied and complete; in addition, the diminutive teenager is not intimidated by larger opponents. You can read more about the up-and-coming apprentice here.
