Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has made his intentions clear before this season’s conclusion. He says he has his sights fixed over Manchester United.

The Foxes are having a good season thus far. Having already made it into the FA Cup Finals, their main focus now remains on securing a qualification spot for the Champions League next season. Realistically, they can make it even better by gathering crucial points from the final three games of the season.

As the Premier League table stands, statistically, the Foxes can still challenge for the places above. While posing a threat to the title contenders seems completely far-fetched, they can do just enough to disrupt the focus of Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Manchester United.

United is having a season synonymous with the King Power Club but with an overall better budget. They are possibly going to play in this year’s Europa League finals. With only five points separating the Foxes from the Red Devils, Rodgers would love nothing more than to make a statement against them.

The Foxes boss has made his intentions pretty clear to the boys by demanding more from them. In addition to telling them not to slip up like their last rodeo. Rodgers expects his Foxes to hunt down the mighty Manchester United when they travel to Old Trafford on May 12th. Here is what the gaffer said:

"“I always look forward, never behind. I always try to catch who is in front of us if we can. There is five games to go and we have equaled our points total from last season. I think it is clear the team has developed and matured this season.”– Brendan Rodgers, via Mirror."
