Team news, possible Leicester City line-up

As reported by BBC Sport, there are no fresh injury concerns for once! Jonny Evans and Vardy both had slight issues, but are expected to be fit and ready to go for this match. This means the only absentees are the long term absences of James Justin, Harvey Barnes, and Wes Morgan.

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City side have adopted a 3-4-1-2 formation in the absence of Harvey Barnes, limiting the number of opportunities for other wingers to come into the team. As such, we can expect Under to once more be on the bench unused.

Possible Line-up: Kasper Schmeichel, Wesley Fofana, Caglar Soyuncu, Jonny Evans, Timothy Castagne, Marc Albrighton, Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Jamie Vardy.

I am expecting James Maddison off the bench for this match. He was not fully fit or particularly impressive in the Southampton match, and we have got to win this one. Perez has been excellent as an attacking midfielder, while Dennis Praet remains someway from full fitness.

Nothing short of a catastrophic injury will change the starting XI for Leicester for the remaining fixtures. The only caveat being an expectation that either Albrighton or Ricardo Pereira will make the first team ahead of Luke Thomas.

Must Read. Rodgers on the great LCFC owners. light

I expect a 2-0 win for Leicester City, with goals from Kelechi Iheanacho and… let’s see, how about a shock Wesley Fofana goal from a corner in the last three minutes?
