Brendan Rodgers on Leicester’s great owners amid protests elsewhere
Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers has explained why Leicester City’s owners are so perfect amid protests at other Premier League clubs.
Us Leicester fans have felt fortunate for some time now in respect to the ownership of the outfit. King Power – once owned, as with LCFC, by Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha with his son Aiyawatt or ‘Top’ now at the helm – has been a blessing for the Foxes just as it has for the local Leicestershire area.
Investment and donations to hospitals is one of the most notable moments of philanthropy from the beloved former chairman. Meanwhile players and staff are lavished with prizes and gifts when achieving – which they have since the rapid promotion rise through English divisions. Not to mention the incredible new training ground.
And the fans are truly treated wonderfully by the Srivaddhanaprabha family and LCFC as a whole: free cakes, water, beer and other presents such as hats and scarves have been bestowed onto the Blue Army. Other positive aspects of running the business like freezing season ticket prices have occurred.
All in all, the faithful couldn’t be happier with the environment, as a supporter I can attest to that. We are lucky to have them! Boss Brendan Rodgers also concurs with opinions of how the bosses direct operations, as well as their very human touch.

In his press conference on Wednesday prior to meeting Newcastle United in the EPL on Friday, the Northern Irishman answered a plethora of questions about his side. In addition, the gaffer gave his view on the Old Trafford protests by Manchester United fans which caused their match against Liverpool to be canceled.
"“The owners here are very much the supporters… they think about how they can look after the fans. Before arriving I saw what they did to celebrate birthdays and whatnot.“It’s not only a business for them. They put in huge amounts of money, but it’s about taking care of fans and making the supporters proud. They are a great demonstration and I’m sure plenty of clubs would love them to be their owners.“We’re very fortunate. They have a realistic ambition for the club.”– Brendan RodgersVia Leicester Mercury"
