Leicester City are confident of securing a £20 million transfer target despite interest from clubs such as Arsenal, AC Milan and Lyon.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s stunning form has lessened fan talk of an incoming striker in the summer transfer market. Yet Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed plans are in place to recruit another attacker or two. Wingers were the others mentioned, and we know an inverted right-sided man is a necessity on Filbert Way.

Leicester apparently have a main target in respect of a centre-forward, and it is Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard. The Frenchman is prolific in the Scottish Premier League, as we all know; though those skills don’t always transplant well in switches to the English Premier League.

Edouard has as much chance as any at upping his level, but it is a slight risk for LCFC. Nevertheless, the east Midlands team are confident of securing Edouard according to reputable outlet, Telegraph:

"Edouard will be available for about £20m and there remains confidence that Leicester can win the race to sign him ahead of Arsenal, AC Milan and Lyon."

Leicester City scout Eric Otieno

Another man Leicester are reported to be monitoring is Eric Otieno; a Kenya international currently at Swedish club AIK. Otieno regularly plays at left-back, but is versatile enough to play in a higher role up the flank. He is absolutely flattered for the supposed attention of Manchester City along with the Foxes.

In fact, the Kenyan spoke of the interest recently, saying that hard work brings good fortune and is probably what attracted the EPL sides to begin with. Additionally, the young starlet aged-18 told journalists that their speculation was the first he’d heard of being tracked by major clubs, as per HITC.
