Leicester star seems to confirm first Foxes transfer of summer
This is a strange one, to be honest, as Foxes of Leicester explains how a star player naively confirms that a Leicester City deal is probably done.
Right, I’m going to save you some time and get straight into this one because it has taken my interest for several reasons as I’ll attempt to explain swiftly later in the piece.
According to respected transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, the Foxes are on the precipice of signing Boubakary Soumare of French club Lille. Leicester defender Wesley Fofana was consequently delighted with the news, which he confirmed by now deleted tweets, which you can view here at Sport Bible.
Leicester City star has lesson to learn
Essentially, in my view, Fofana is particularly lucky that he is the youthful asset with the most promising future on Filbert Way: if he was another up-and-comer making a few errors or huge statements on social media whilst trying to break into the first team for the secretive LCFC – those actions would hurt other youths’ chances.
As it happens, the now 20-year-old Frenchman will get away with it partly due to his incredible prowess which will only improve. Nevertheless, Fofana would be wise – at least more careful than he has been – to avoid these types of incidents. If you disagree with me then please explain why the former Saint-Etienne man deleted the tweets?! He was more than likely instructed to get rid of the Twitter evidence by a Leicester official.
Funnily enough this has made the fan favourite even more likeable to the Blue Army: any down to earth players who engage on social media like us supporters are always the most endeared to their club’s faithful for being similar to the ‘man on the street’. And of course we want to know details of switches prior to them even finalising or occurring.
