Leicester set James Maddison price amid interest from EPL rival
Leicester City have apparently set a price for star midfielder James Maddison amid transfer interest from a Premier League rival.
Before we start I’ll give you my brief overview or assessment of Maddison as a Fox and a player in general. Basically he’s on the precipice of more glory, but also precariously balanced on the edge of thin ice with regards to silly off the field antics. You can read my thoughts in their entirety here, but be prepared for an honest and sometimes scathing evaluation.
Essentially it is in the best interests of the Foxes to keep Maddison; yet finding a suitable replacement with a move consistent output and arguably healthier option would be ideal. But they don’t really exist: part of what sets the former Norwich City man apart is his maverick streak. Let’s hope he focusses pretty much only on football at LCFC next year!
Premier League rival fancy Leicester City star
Leicester and Chelsea are definitely developing a little rivalry on and off the pitch. And the back and forth between fans, players and staff will only increase if the Pensioners manage to sign the playmaker Fox:
"According to Fichajes, the Stamford Bridge club and Manchester City are exploring the possibility of a move for the Englishman this summer. The report states Leicester will demand a fee of £51 million for the 24-year-old and it is unclear whether either Premier League side will pay the asking price.Via Mirror"
Upcoming Leicester City events
There are no LCFC friendly matches booked in as of now, though the club surely has some games penciled in, FoL is positive. Thankfully Harvey Barnes is thought to be well on the mend; the diagnosis is that the winger will be fit to play in Foxes practice outings ahead of 2021/22.
The Leicester players are expected back for preseason duty, training, conditioning, etcetera at the start of June.
