Leicester City supporters’ worry for starman

Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona – when neutrals hear the names of gigantic teams such as those attached to a supposed interest to a standout Foxes player, they must be concerned for us. When we LCFC fans hear that type of thing, we worry, in all honesty.

That latter response is also an understandable reaction: Leicester just cannot compete on a revenue level with those sort of sides due to the amount of paying followers they have around the globe. Though the east Midlands outfit does compete on the pitch through diligence on and off the field, it is difficult to make a full challenge in everything entered.

Obviously we all want to see Tielemans stay for one more year at the very least, he said himself he’s content; incidentally his current deal expires in two years, summer 2023. And there is absolutely no onus on LCFC’s ownership to sell as far as we are aware, with regards to financial need, clauses or anything like that.

Recently Top Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner, suggested that the club was in a great position of strength and will be making acquisitions in the transfer market. However, for the past three consecutive seasons, a solitary star asset was sold between campaigns: Riyad Mahrez, Harry Maguire and then Ben Chilwell.
