A rare find from the free agency is worth a fortune. Nowadays, free plucking is considered a strategical move. So, shouldn’t Leicester City partake in this?

A club of any magnitude should keep sniffing around the “free agency” as rare gems with potential could always drop over there for a quickly instigated meticulous snatch. In recent times, FC Barcelona made headlines as they made all their star-studded signings by utilizing the full extent of the free agency. The reaping benefits are simple- a club does not need to pay the hefty transfer fee to another club to acquire talent.

The East Midlands side has already made some spectacular signings such as Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumaré, and Ryan Bertrand. Obviously, by now, their purse would feel the effects of adding such talents. With that said, Leicester City should consider pondering over some names that are available for free this summer.

Leicester City should consider Ezgjan Alioski

A question always asked whenever a new young signing with considerable potential comes to the league is- if the player is “Premier League” proven? Often clubs of the English top-flight want to take their chances with a player who has tested the waters in the Premiership. He should have passed the litmus test of the league before being considered worthy of entrustment.

One such star who has been through the thick and thin of the top two tiers of English football is Ezgjan Alioski. He had helped Leeds United gain their promotion after the club’s years of hit and trials. Under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa, one of the most demanding managers of the league, Alioski has matured into a robust player.

The 29-year-old was North Macedonia’s headline act in the Euros. However, Alioski is now no longer a Leeds United player. It makes the left-back a free agent who would be highly sought. A fantastic prospect for a club like LCFC because Alioski is not only capable of a left-back role, but he also can play as a left midfielder, winger, and also as a central midfielder. Pretty versatile.
