A star Leicester City trio who have been linked with moves away from Leicester City are likely to remain Foxes at least until the next transfer window.

Leicester fans have had to endure the thought of losing some of their prominent talent this summer; one star has left the club for the previous three consecutive years.

However, when correlating the information available from the more reliable sources on Youri Tielemans, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, it appears that none of the three will be sold as their prospective suitors have all had fee deterrents.

With regard to Barnes, the Reds are an apparent admirer. Yet Goal’s expert on the Merseysiders, Neil Jones, suggests Jurgen Klopp’s side will not attempt to capture the England international in this window:

Funding is another issue, as it is assumed the 2019/20 Premier League champions must sell before buying.

In other Barnes news, the Burnley-born player was just like the vast majority of the rest of us Englishmen during the Euros: watching the tournament on the television and cheering on Gareth Southgate’s well-organised England team. The former went to social media to speak of his heartbreak at the side’s loss on penalties after giving their all.

Barnes may have had a chance of being in the Three Lions squad had injury not struck at the most inopportune time for he, Southgate and his Champions League-seeking club. Surely Barnes’ involvement in the run-in would have secured the few points needed for LCFC’s qualification.
