Re-examining Leicester City’s depth, the management should discover several redundancies in duties to make several cuts in various departments. The approach should be in a consolidated manner to meticulously gain from these redundant assets.

The current transfer window has been a memorable one for the Foxes fans in recent memory. The new signings sent a strong message ensuring commitment and urgency to push for cracking the top four ceiling from next season.

This effort has welcomed a few talented fresh faces at the King Power Stadium like Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumaré, and Ryan Bertrand. At the same time, such signings have deducted around fifty million euros from Leicester City’s account. Thus the necessity of adding players in positions of a right-winger and a centre-back remains unattended.

To sign at least two more players well equipped in those two domains demand the urgent gathering of additional funds to ease up the regulations of the budget. Let us look at five Leicester City players who should be capitalized now for assured sustainability in the long term.

Ghezzal finally departing Leicester City?

It is true that Rachid Ghezzal, after being loaned to Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş last season, found his best form yet. Valued at €7M in the transfer market, Leicester City should look to cash in his form quickly to collect a good return on the Algerian. Especially now, as only a year remains on his four-year contract.

Ghezzal has never linked well with the LCFC system. He was uninspiring for the team during most of his unimpressive performances, and since then, has been under various loan spells each season. Beşiktaş won the Super Lig last season, and Rachid contributed a lot to their success.

This contribution certainly increases the chances of consideration for the 29-year-old Algerian by several European clubs and scouts next season. Most likely, he will join Beşiktaş on a cut-price fee, as the Turkish champions will be well aware that the player’s contract will run out in the next year.
