It appears Leicester City have finally made their mind up about which winger they desire. And the Foxes are expected to now make an approach.

Foxes of Leicester has been waiting for this day, a great day, when we can announce hopefully confirmed interest in a left-footed right-winger. It’ll be an amazing day when he actually signs. And that apparent target, according to a verified reporter, is West Bromwich Albion’s Matheus Pereira.

The consensus in the Blue Army would surely be delight if the tricky and talented winger/attacking midfielder is secured by the Foxes. We have all witnessed a decline in the deficient right side since Algerian magician Riyad Mahrez departed Leicestershire for the bright lights of Manchester City.

As you can see for yourself, above is a post on social media from Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida claiming Leicester are definitely interested in Pereira. FoL are particularly excited about this one!

There are two extremely encouraging elements of the 25 year old Brazilian’s style which will suit the east Midlands team down to the ground: the willingness to take on and beat an opponent to create space; along with versatility to drift centrally and cause positional problems for the opposition.

Former Leicester City favourite to return to King Power Stadium

Vicente Iborra will be at the King Power Stadium once again as LCFC welcome Villarreal for their big, final friendly prior to the 2021/22 campaign getting underway. In spite of a brief spell on Filbert Way, the Spaniard became a cult favourite among Leicester’s Blue Army fan base.

Before that practice match takes place on Wednesday, August 4 at 7:45pm, the Foxes play three other friendlies. Burton Albion, Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers are all scheduled for home clashes. 33 year old Iborra played 37 times for Leicester between 2017-2019.
