Join Foxes of Leicester as we analyse the latest Leicester City transfer rumours, including Leon Bailey, Noni Madueke and Josip Brekalo.

Evidently Leicester have already made a trio of very handy and potentially exciting signings this summer: Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumare and Ryan Bertrand. In fact, the trio of fresh faces actually began the Foxes’ initial friendly versus Burton Albion on Saturday.

That was as intriguing a practice match as you’ll likely see, as it was the Bass Charity Vase; a pre-season cup is awarded to the yearly winner – except 2020 due to COVID-19 – which is why penalties were used to decide the slightly drab 0-0 stalemate.

Daka, Soumare and Bertrand only played half of the Burton game as Brendan Rodgers tends to deploy separate elevens for each half of warmup clashes. Yet Soumare in particular gives the impression of a future Premier League star.

Leicester City transfer targets

Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen is a current Leicester-linked player; a Jamaican winger plying trade in Germany. Aston Villa have been heavily connected with a move for Bailey, yet the Villans now apparently face competition from LCFC, Everton, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In the past, the 23-year-old was tracked by superclubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City. And, according to our friends at 90MIN, £30million plus would secure his services.
