First two centre-backs Leicester City reportedly want

Firstly, TalkSPORT journalist and Leicester fan, Jason Bourne, suggests Southampton’s Jannik Vestergaard has returned to the King Power club’s wishlist. That’s if he was ever taken off it. Vestergaard seemed unwanted by many of LCFC’s Blue Army who I had seen on social media.

Although, the Danish international recently won more support through better displays. Maybe he is the right man to deputise for Jonny Evans; £15million is a reasonable amount to secure his services.

Another familiar name associated with a transfer to Leicestershire is Ozan Kabak, the former Liverpool loanee. Kabak is at the opposite end of the spectrum to the previously mentioned Saints CB, as a younger and more of a ‘front foot’ defender.

As usual, Sport Witness have taken in all the stories on this one emanating from Germany; the 21-year-old is currently at Schalke. Leicester and Crystal Palace are said to have each offered around €8m for the defensive man. But the Germans want more and aren’t willing to lower their price. He is also worth pursuing for LCFC especially as a potential loan, in my opinion.
