According to a report on Thursday, Leicester City club legend and icon Jamie Vardy has made a decision over where he’ll finish his career.

Foxes of Leicester have great news for you on this Thursday morning, as Foxes striker Jamie Vardy has confirmed that he’ll end his professional football career at Leicester City Football Club.

While featuring on a new episode of ‘A League of Their Own’, the Sheffield-born forward professed his love for the King Power team. And, even if huge sides such as Manchester United or Liverpool came knocking, Vardy would still stay in the east Midlands:

As we all know, Vardy appreciates and is loyal to the Foxes because they had faith in him when most others didn’t.

Leicester City face tough League Cup test

On Wednesday evening the Carabao Cup draw was made, and the Foxes have a difficult tie away to infamous English club, Millwall. Millwall has a reputation as having the fiercest fans in England – bar none. Forget Leeds United’s fiery support, or Liverpool and Man Utd, the Lions reign supreme in the intimidation stakes.

In fact, the South London outfit has such a stigma that when former Leicester Academy graduate and then one of LCFC’s star players, Ben Chilwell, took a throw in he was apparently pelted with coins. Chilwell’s image was damaged very badly after he refused to take them in the second half due to a ‘broken finger’. How embarrassing.

Nobody would want to be in his position, but come on, eh?! Chilwell hasn’t got to worry as Chelsea play Aston Villa in the Third Round of the competition. Rodgers’ team meet Millwall on or around the weekend of September 21.
