Foxes of Leicester were keen to know what the Leicester City fans realistically expect of their team this season – so we asked them.

Our team’s guesses at FoL are one thing – but what we really wanted to know is what the Blue Army thinks is feasibly achievable for the east Midlands side in the 2021/22 campaign. And, naturally, the faithful obliged as usual.

Below is the actual question posed to Leicester fans by us; subsequently the Foxes supporters gave their answers, as you can also see attached to out initial tweet.

Tim Haq consistently offers insight and grounded opinions on LCFC.

Mr Bingles thinks similarly to FoL’s gaffer, @TB1884.

In actuality Leicester are already overachieving and performing an enviable balancing act, as Steven alludes.

These outcomes are fine by us.

For some reason – many point to the departure of long-time Foxes physiotherapist Dave Rennie as partial explanation for so many fitness issues – injuries plague Brendan Rodgers’ tenure on Filbert Way. Hopefully the team regains its high levels of readiness soon.

Leicester City’s big challenge made easier?

Leicester meet Manchester City on Saturday; it is never easy facing the champions. And that especially goes for this group of title-winners. Pep Guardiola is clearly a master, although can be accused of over-thinking – we’ve all been there, Pep. In addition, he has possibly failed in Europe with the Citizens – not many of us have even been there though, Pep.

Either way you look at Man City and their boss, they are an elegant threat. However, and this is the potentially spectacular element for the Foxes, the lauded Spaniard may be without some of his most vital personnel.

In fact, if Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson is unavailable, MCFC only have 36-year-old Scott Carson as a senior goalkeeper. Making matters increasingly difficult for City, two youthful stoppers are the only other options.
