As the 2021/22 season marches on, the January transfer window gets closer and closer, and reports indicate that Leicester City may already have their eye on target Keane Lewis-Porter.

Leicester have already been linked to Euro 2020 winner Domenico Berardi ahead of an audacious January move, but now the Foxes have their eyes set on another exciting attacker: Keane Lewis-Porter. Here, Foxes of Leicester offers a lowdown on ‘KLP’, along with our assessment on the feasibility of a deal between the two clubs in the future.

His name may not be as big as Berardi’s, but he certainly is impressing in his debut Championship season. Lewis-Porter is a Hull academy graduate and has had a major impact for his team in the last two seasons. In 2020/21 he finished the campaign with thirteen goals and six assists for the Tigers. This season he is kicking on from where he left off, having scored two and assisted two from the opening eleven fixtures.

Whilst Hull are, overall, finding life in the Championship difficult, Lewis-Porter is certainly bringing hope to fans. He is a versatile forward and can play on either wing – though mostly plays on the left – and at only 20 years old, he has got such a high potential.
