I was a bit nervous but still optimistic that we could hunt down the Devils like hungry Foxes. The game started with a buzz, and instantly the focus dawned on CR7. The King Power club put up with the initial pressure, but as fate would have it, despite no mistake of our own, Mason Greenwood takes a shot during the 19th minute with faith that tears through the air to end up at the back of the net!

An absolute rocket that was- a remarkable goal to start the encounter. Transfixing on our defensive incapability for weeks, this one had no fault that could be blaming us. It was a moment of brilliance that we don’t witness regularly. Now fast forward to the 31st minute, and United gets a free kick in their territory.

Our favorite Harry Maguire instantly loses control of the ball due to Kelechi Iheanacho’s urgent press. In a split second, the ball is dispossessed, and it ends up at another Red Devil’s (but in a different context) feet. Youri Tielemans calmly lobs the ball, and it dips in a fashion that no one expects. Things slow down; David de Gea pauses as the goal lands into the goal, with a perfectly perfect trajectory.

More things start to happen in the second half from the 78th minute. From a corner, Patson Daka brings down the ball near the far post and takes a shot. It is saved by the de Gea but fails in controlling the rebound. However, someone does find it as a gift-wrapped up for him to finish, and Çağlar Söyüncü doesn’t miss those. With a blink of an eye, the Foxes lead at home!
