Brendan Rodgers might leave Leicester City. It could be due to the recent Manchester United links or simply because he has reached the ceiling with the Foxes. Either way, it is good to be aware of the situation before it catches LCFC off-guard.

Leicester isn’t doing too great in the first quarter of the season. Even by LCFC’s standards, we are way behind. The European campaign’s progression is a huge task and trailing in the 12th place of the Premier League is just painful. At a time like this, Caught Offside’s fresh rumor indicating a verbal agreement between Brendan Rodgers with Manchester United has startled the Foxes’ fanbase.

"“Brendan Rodgers to Manchester United…he’s agreed it, there’s just question marks over when he’ll take over. That could be at the end of the season, which he would prefer, but United are pushing for now.” – Caught Offside claims."

There is no concrete source to check whether the claim is haywire or there is legitimacy to it. But as we all feel deep inside, Rodgers cannot be around for much longer. The team has done well since Rodgers took over. However, that honeymoon period now looks to have reached its saturation point.

The bridge between the Foxes and Rodgers is not strong like before, as the fanbase is diverged and skeptical about whether the boss is capable of taking them forwards. Also, having an offer to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjær would sound tempting anyway. Considering the quality that United has, Rodgers would ponder over the offer on the table.
