Leicester City v Chelsea: Blues injury news ahead of game

Leicester City face, arguably, their biggest challenge of the season so far on Saturday afternoon when they host the current champions of Europe and Premier League leaders, Chelsea Football Club. Chelsea have been a side reborn ever since they hired Thomas Tuchel after Frank Lampard’s dismissal last season.

Chelsea have gotten off to a fantastic start in the Premier League, having been one of the pre-season favourites to win the league. So far, they have only lost one game – a 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City – and have won 8 of their 11 PL matches. Currently, they sit on 26 points, 11 points and places above Leicester who are 12th with 15 points.

The game will be hard-fought, with Chelsea looking to keep – or extend – their three-point gap on Man City and West Ham, and with Leicester looking to get their season back on track after a poor start to the 2021/22 campaign.

Leicester City will be significantly weakened on Saturday, with Youri Tielemans being ruled out for the next few games; many fans will be hoping that Chelsea have injury worries of their own.
