James Maddison- 9/10 (MOTM): Excellent and once again the deserved man of the match. This is the Maddison we all want to see and the one that was banging on Gareth Southgate’s door. Created multiple chances and his set-piece delivery was also notably improved. His goal was well-taken and his assist for Vardy’s first was absolutely delightful.

Attackers

Ademola Lookman- 7.5/10: A quality display again, Lookman finally broke his Leicester City duck with a tap-in, a just reward for his good work. Posed a constant danger with his dribbling and movement although his passes didn’t always work out as planned.

Jamie Vardy- 8/10: Continued his excellent goal record against the Hornets, stinging them twice more with a delightful finish and a glancing header. Had a chance for a hat-trick but unfortunately it was saved by the ‘keeper. Even so, the Watford centre-backs will be glad to see the back of the Englishman.

Harvey Barnes- 6.5/10: Not quite as electrifying as on Thursday, though it wasn’t for the want of trying. Whilst his usual dribbles didn’t quite come off, Barnes helped set up Lookman for his first legitimate LCFC goal.

Leicester City substitutes

Marc Albrighton- 6/10: Industrious as usual, a hallmark that has made him a Leicester City favourite. On the ball, he tried to find Vardy on several occasions but was unable to do so. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: N/A; not on the pitch long enough to receive a rating.
