Luckily for under pressure Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers, Foxes midfield star Youri Tielemans is back ready and available for selection.

If you are not aware or have been off the grid for 24 hours, let me inform you of some upsetting Leicester news. Unfortunately the Foxes have sustained many positive tests for the coronavirus disease.

Apparently there are 10 people associated with LCFC who have contracted covid; although some are also alternatively meant to have an unnamed illness. Leicester’s crucial Europa League match versus Napoli is still expected to go ahead on Thursday.

The seven players affected have been named as: Daniel Amartey, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ayoze Perez, Filip Benkovic, Vontae Daley-Campbell, Ademola Lookman and Jannik Vestergaard. Three staff members of the east Midlands team have also been put out of action with presumed coronavirus symptoms or confirmed cases.

Only Lookman is a current starter, but quite a few of the above listed personnel could easily have had a request for their presence on the pitch. Thankfully one star is ready to make his comeback after a short stint on the sideline. Youri Tielemans will return for the contest in Italy; and you can learn extra information on that here.

Will the latest development mean Leicester City’s UEL progress is hampered?

Brendan Rodgers was pretty much asked the subheading question there, and his answer was typically evasive. In fact, the Northern Irishman seemed to talk about another subject that suited his agenda of ensuring the fixture is played, for some reason:
