Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has revealed the feeling within the Foxes squad after a covid outbreak and two successive games were cancelled.

The previous occasion when Leicester last played a match was versus Newcastle United in the Premier League, and the Foxes were 4-0 winners on the day. Following that the Tottenham Hotspur clash was called off at rather a late moment, then the Everton contest was also postponed but this time a bit in advance.

Another spread of the coronavirus disease is the reason for the break in play; sadly the LCFC side has been struggling with positive tests since the outbreak.

Nigeria international and star of the east Midlands outfit, Wilfred Ndidi, has spoken about how he and his teammates felt and what they have endured since the training ground was closed to senior players:

"“We have to follow the protocol and it’s been difficult because we haven’t been together as a group. We’ve been training individually because of COVID-19, but we’ll just see what comes.“It feels like [it’s been a long time since Leicester’s last game]. We had be at home for some days so it feels so long. Now we have a game coming up, but we haven’t really trained properly together. It feels a little bit better now, but as a group, everyone is not yet back.“As a group, we know what we want and I’m happy because we’re getting back together.”Via lcfc.com"
