Patson Daka – 8

Leicester’s summer signing made a triumphant return from injury against Tottenham. The Zambian striker continued his brilliant scoring form when he netted the opener on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old’s pure pace was on full show as he constantly made runs at Tottenham’s defence.

He could easily have had more goals next to his name when he found himself on the end of a cross from Thomas, yet he was unable to nod it home. His goal made it his 8th goal for the Foxes in all competitions.

James Justin – 7

A promising return for Justin who played his first senior game in 11 months. The English defender’s performance was reminiscent of the way he was playing before injury and didn’t look out of place on the pitch.

He made some exciting runs forward and was for the most part, solid in defence. However, he was caught out for Tottenham’s second gaol of the night where he failed to track Matthew Doherty who got in behind the LCFC backline.

Harvey Barnes -7

A solid return for Barnes off the bench, he linked up well alongside Maddison and assisted him for the Foxes’ second goal.

His pace and excellent dribbling ability was too much to handle for the Spurs defence. However he did miss the chance of squaring the ball to Lookman who was open in the late stages of the game. Had Barnes looked up after dribbling past two players and played a ball to Lookman, then the game could have very well had a much different ending.

Trending. It looks like Leicester won’t sign Eriksen. light

Boubakary Soumare – N/A

The French midfielder came on late in an attempt to hold onto the win, he didn’t have a major impact and was unable to prevent Leicester City from dropping all three points.
