Leicester City hosted Brighton Hove Albion today at King Power Stadium where both the teams shared the points in the end.

The Foxes were looking to bounce back from a heart-breaker suffered against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, but failed to hold on for all the three points yet again. Brendan Rodgers team were ahead just after the half-time when Patson Daka scored to put his team in the driving seat but they were pegged back by a brilliant header by Danny Welbeck in the eighty second minute.

New Leicester City hero Patson Daka

The Zambain International is truly on fire at Leicester. He has got to be one of the biggest positives in this season which has not gone as many expected it to. He had scored an enormous goal against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and he has managed to do it again. His ability to score even with slightest of chances is mind blowing and gives flashes of Jamie Vardy.

The ex-RB Salzburg striker has made only nine appearances this season which includes four starts and has already scored four and assisted three. Whether Daka is the eventual heir to Vardy’s throne remains to be seen – yet what the Blue Army is witnessing is reminiscent, in that sense.
