Caglar Soyuncu: contract expiring summer 2023

‘Cags’ has not enjoyed the best of seasons, making some costly errors and struggling without the presence of Jonny Evans. Nevertheless, he remains a valuable asset who cannot be allowed to run down his contract. At his best, Soyuncu is a formidable option and a new deal would give LCFC security and a stronger bargaining position were he to attract future interest.

Daniel Amartey: contract expiring summer 2023

‘Big Dan’ has emerged as an unlikely cult hero for Leicester City, being the best centre-back at the club this season. With his versatility and popularity, it would be good to extend his deal as he has proven himself to be a Premier League standard player.

Who should be sold by summer 2022

Youri Tielemans: contract expiring summer 2023

Leicester fans must face the sad reality that the ‘Starman’ is likely to leave due to Leicester’s failure to qualify for the Champions League. With contract talks unlikely to succeed Leicester must sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer. The best-case scenario would be that Youri signs a contract with a release clause to guarantee his value, though this seems unlikely to happen. In all honesty, you can hardly blame him either.
