After King Power acquired Leicester City, the fans have enjoyed the highest of highs more than the lows. But today, we take a magnified look at one of those lows. More specifically, at some of the horrendous signings that the club made over the years.

Leicester City has fondly earned its reputation for two things in the modern Premier League era. One is for their 5000-1 odds of winning the Premier League title astonishingly during the 2015/16 season. Another is their ability to scout gems of talents from relatively unknown territories.

But despite the relatively high success rates, the Foxes have managed to unearth some of the most unimpressive signings that have turned out to be a bust. We have cherry-picked three such players who fit the aforementioned description with a certain perfection.

Yann Kermorgant

The French striker was a free agent who impressed the scouts after showcasing his worth in two trials with the King Power club. On 24 August 2009, Leicester City signed Kermorgant on a short-term contract until January 2010. Later, however, on 17 December, Kermorgant signed another two-and-a-half-year deal, which would last until the end of June 2012.
