A talkSPORT presenter has made the claim that Leicester City centre-back Caglar Soyuncu now wants to leave the King Power club through a transfer.

Soyuncu’s plummet from a rising, elite defender to one of the worst performing players in the Premier League with seemingly zero confidence was swift and worrying. Foxes of Leicester were huge fans of the Turkey international prior to this season, yet it is now difficult to defend his frantic displays and decision-making. In fact the decline began before 2021/22.

Therefore many Foxes supporters will be more than content to see Wesley Fofana return and take the place of Soyuncu. Although, the Turk may even be shipped out in the summer, if a claim from TalkSPORT presenter Jake Watson is to be believed.

The above tweet shows the assertion from the media producer. In addition to suggesting the former Freiburg man “wants out”, Watson goes further by saying the ‘only way he will stay’ is if LCFC’s valuation of their asset is met.

Leicester City in the FA Cup and return to Premier League action

Following some thrilling Saturday afternoon clashes between English top-flight teams and lower league sides, we very nearly had a few upsets. Though the higher calibre shone through eventually after Coventry led over Southampton.

Plymouth also took the lead at Chelsea, and Kidderminster were close to knocking out West Ham United. Whereas Middlesbrough actually eliminated Manchester United. Hopefully the east Midlanders won’t be on the receiving end of an upset against rivals Nottingham Forest when they meet on Sunday. Brendan Rodgers must ensure that his eleven are capable, as well as up for a fight.
