Against Forest, there was no aggression from the Premier League side. Almost every player bowed down their heads and accepted their fate. A derby is won on passion and not with talent. A local lad from the area would have understood the gravity. That is why someone like Dewsbury-Hall was an imperative obvious to start.

The next thing that infuriated fans is how Rodgers has conducted himself in front of the media. His tones regarding overachieving have agitated the Foxes. His disregarding nature with avoiding taking responsibility for his failures have been a reoccurring theme of this season. Often he has thrown the team under the bus but never has accepted the challenge of improving them. His signings in Jannik Vestergaard and Ryan Bertrand have left the side to operate on a shoestring budget.

The players know that Brendan Rodgers is not an authoritarian figure. Their immature outlook has taken undue advantage of this. Though they deny it, some Leicester City players were caught red-handed partying (allegedly) till the early hours of the morning after losing out in a humiliating fashion against local rivals. It is not even the first time this has happened.
