Harvey Barnes – 9

A brilliant performance from the 24-year-old. In the first half he was terrorising Vladimir Coufal at the back. His rapid runs with the ball and great link-up play with Justin and Luke Thomas made him a threat for the majority of the 90 minutes.

Barnes was often seen dribbling at the West Ham defence, making his presence felt and creating opportunities for those in the box. His efforts were then rewarded when he supplied the assist for Pereira’s brilliant diving header that gave the home side the lead.

Patson Daka – 6

One of the few average performances from the Zambian international since he joined Leicester City in the summer. The West Ham defence was often too strong for him as he struggled to make an impact on the game.

He made some promising runs in behind, but for the majority of the game, the visitors’ backline seemed comfortable handling Daka.

Luke Thomas – 7

Another good game from Thomas. His chemistry with Barnes on the left is only growing and he continues to look threatening going forward.

Defensively it was an improvement on some of his recent games, where he has been caught out at the back at times. It wasn’t a performance worthy of significant praise, but he didn’t do too much wrong for the time that he was on the pitch.
