Leicester City play host to Danish side Randers on Thursday, as they aim to start their Europa Conference League campaign with a victory. After failing to pass the group stages of the Europa League, the Foxes were knocked into UEFA’s new third-tier European competition.
To many, the Conference League is a lifeline in an overall poor season for Leicester. If City can go all the way in the competition, then they will be guaranteed to play in the Europa League next season, a third year in a row that the Foxes will be playing in Europe. Winning the competition would also be a huge boost of morale for supporters and the players, something that they’ve been lacking in recent weeks.

Randers are a side that not many will have heard of before the draw, but they cannot be underestimated. If the Foxes are arrogant, they risk being humiliated. The Danish side are currently 5th in the Superliga, and finished the Conference League group stage in second place. Please select the ‘next page’ option directly below to continue.
