Leicester City and Everton are monitoring the situation of Bristol City breakout star Alex Scott, here is what you need to know about the midfielder.

The Robins are led by fan-favourite Nigel Pearson, and their Championship side currently consists of several impressive and eye-catching talents. From Han-Noah Massengo to Atonie Semenyo and Jay Dasilva.

One of their crop of youthful talent coming through the ranks is Alex Scott, a versatile attack-minded central midfielder who can also play out wide and in a deeper role. This player is going places, and here is what you must know.

Leicester City hunting for gems

The King Power side are renowned for their usual identification and signing of talented gems for bargain prices from across multiple levels of football in multiple countries. This stratagem for transfers as worked wonders, so no need to change anytime soon.

As previously stated, Bristol City have plenty of that talent right now, most of it progressive and positive in play style. The technical ability on display under Pearson is hugely impressive.

As reported by BristolLive, the Foxes and the Toffees are both watching the English midfielder Scott closely as both eye up improvements to their youth and senior set ups in the long term. For now though, there are no speculations of transfer movement.

The Robin’s star has featured 26 times in the Championship over the course of the 21/22 season, though not always starting. He has also scored three times and assisted twice, mostly performing from the No.10 role.

The player has also performed from deeper, where he has been the progressive and creative core of the side during counter attacks, helping Bristol to quickly progress from defence to attack with impressive passes and switches of play.

Technically the player is superb. The play style and passion are reminiscent of Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, another gem midfielder who has quickly developed into a senior team regular.

A move for the player would be a little odd, with Wanya Marcal-Madivadua and his talented midfield compatriots already coming strongly through the academy ranks. Nevertheless, another gem in the King Power’s gauntlet is nothing to scoff at.

Should there be any movement, I would expect it to be if a midfielder makes the transition from the U23s to the senior side, even if to be a bench player. In that situation, Scott might be heading to the East Midlands.
