Do Leicester fans want Kasper Schmeichel to stay or go in summer?

This was a common way supporters felt. Schmeichel is not getting any younger, and the Foxes will undoubtedly require a new and well-integrated goalkeeper at some point. However, the Great Dane has experience and has won with us, it is difficult when the rest of the squad is so young to lose a leader, winner, and experienced player.

There were plenty of fans who though it was time for the Danish goalkeeper to leave the club in the summer. They see him as getting older and better options available either at the club or in the market.

This is often in tandem with those who feel our No. 1 has been significantly and noticeably worse this season than in previous seasons. In the 20/21 season, Schmeichel was lauded as one of the best, yet his current statistics in terms of post-shot expected goals versus shots saved does not look too impressive anymore.
