Leicester City starlet Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is now in the process of negotiating himself a new deal at the King Power Stadium. The 23-year-old exploded onto the scene since making his first Premier League start in December.

The central midfielder is the latest in a growing list of players to break into the first team from the Foxes academy. With Harvey Barnes and Luke Thomas both also asserting themselves as first team regulars after progressing through the academy.

Dewsbury-Hall’s current contract is set to expire in 2024 and has been a revelation in his short time with the senior Foxes. After spending last season on loan at Luton Town, he has developed into one of the most consistent players for LCFC this season.

After signing his current contract in 2020 ‘KDH’ only made two appearances for LCFC but was being touted as a potentially significant for the future. After spending time featuring in the Under-23 side and out on loan, he is now in the frame to be starting each game.

His all-round skills make Dewsbury-Hall a great asset to have at each end of the pitch. He scored two goals and has provided one assist this season. Which goes along with his brilliant performances and the energy he provides in the centre of the park. His work-rate is often infectious, lifting his teammates and has earned plenty of praise from the Blue Army in his short time playing at the top level.

The academy graduate has made 28 appearances in all competitions this campaign for the King Power outfit, with 17 of those in the Premier League. Dewsbury-Hall is being lauded by boss Brendan Rodgers, as the Northern Irishman labels him a potential captain for the East Midlands side. There is more on a supposed new deal, here.
