Foxes of Leicester examine the most recent incoming and outgoing Leicester City transfer rumours, with reports emerging on the likelihood of deals and player assessments.

A busy summer awaits the East Midlands club, as manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed recently that even starting eleven players’ places and status are not safe. So the team’s stars must too prove themselves, as well as impress to retain their positions.

Additionally, the Northern Irishman confirmed that LCFC will attempt to acquire multiple fresh squad members during the off-season. He says as many as three new men could be signed to be involved in the XI. Five or six is the overall number Rodgers mentioned.

Foxes fans might be witnessing a quite different side than this season’s; it will undoubtedly be unrecognisable from the one which the boss originally inherited. What FoL would like to do now is detail the latest links with the King Power outfit ahead of a crucial period.

Incoming transfer rumours

Tete of Shakhtar Donetsk is a name that has been swirling around sports media gossip repeatedly of late. FoL covered the Brazilian last week, the link to that piece is here. City are scouting Italian star Domenico Berardi; the winger plays for Sassuolo in Italy; Arsenal and Newcastle also reportedly hold respective interest. Charles de Ketelaere, currently at Club Brugge, is said to be on the Foxes wishlist.

Leicester are joined in an apparent pursuit of Red Bull Salzburg’s Chukwubuike Adamu by Southampton. Adamu is the successor to Patson Daka at RB Salzburg, and LCFC may want to repeat their probable success with another forward. The former is now an Austria international, although he was born in Nigeria; Leicester have a strong Nigerian connection.

Outgoing Leicester City talk

Dennis Praet is very likely to depart Filbert Way before 2022/23. There is more information on that undesirable expectation here; many of the Blue Army would prefer the Belgian be given a chance at LCFC.
