A scrappy and uneventful Leicester City game this afternoon on Filbert Way saw another two points dropped, as Newcastle United jump above the Foxes into ninth place.

It looks as if Leicester will settle for a mid-table position in the Premier League as focus turns to the Europa Conference League. The East Midlands side are currently sat in 10th place on 42 points but depending on Brentford’s game this evening and Brighton’s game against Southampton tomorrow afternoon, Leicester could drop all the way to 12th place. Foxes of Leicester look at how the LCFC players rated after another disappointing game.

Leicester City Goalkeepers and Defenders

Kasper Schmeichel: 6/10 – It’s hard to rate goalkeepers especially when they don’t have much to do in the game. He made a good save to keep Villa out in the 54th minute and also sent a good ball out to Justin.

James Justin: 5/10 – Was off his game a bit, got caught a lot of the time and made a few dodgy passes. However, he also slid a good ball into Daka in the 21st minute and did well to keep the ball in play at one time. Overall, an average game.
