Leicester City left the King Power Stadium on level terms with Roma after the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final on Thursday.

The away side drew first blood as Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring with a well-placed finish to beat Kasper Schmeichel in goal. The hosts eventually equalised thanks to an own-goal from Gianluca Mancini.

Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel – 7

The Danish keeper had a quiet game in goal as the Foxes were rarely troubled for the majority of the 90 minutes. There’s no doubt he would be frustrated to have conceded the opening goal but it was hard to blame the keeper in that situation.

Leicester’s captain made a strong save off Sergio Oliveira’s shot in the 80th minute that could have given the Italian side the lead heading into the second leg.

Timothy Castagne – N/A

The Belgian defender picked up an injury early in proceedings and was subbed off after 20 minutes. In that time he did nearly manage to score for the Foxes as his diving header from a corner went wide.

Wesley Fofana – 8.5

The French starlet was superb for the majority of the game. There will definitely be questions raised as to whether he could have done more to stop the opening goal but he made up for it with numerous last-ditch interceptions and tackles throughout the game.
